Twins have an amazing bond.  I’m not a twin, but I’m both a daughter of a twin and a mother to twins, and I have seen more times than I could possibly count what an incredible, deep bond twins can have with one another.  Sometimes people think that the twin bond only happens with same-sex twins, like my boys or my friend Casey’s twin girls, but the truth is that those boy-girl pairs can have just a close twinbond as any other set of twins.

The reason I bring this up is because I recently was reminded of this upon meeting this darling little pair. Brother and sister, they were happiest when the other was nearby (if not sitting immediately to the right).  That twin bond is there, you can see it.I’m sure there’ll be rocky moments from time to time in their twin relationship (as with any multiples, or even just a pair of singleton siblings), but if they’re anything like my boys, these two will be among the luckiest in the world to have their best friend right by their side all the time.
